Annual Fund

A Shared Investment in the Formation of the Child

Education of the whole person cannot be reduced to a transaction. The work of cultivating intellect, character, and virtue unfolds within carefully prepared environments, guided by deeply trained educators, and sustained by a community that believes in the dignity and potential of the child.

At St. Helena Montessori, the Annual Fund is one of the ways our community participates in that work.

Gifts to the Annual Fund strengthen the environments where students encounter meaningful work, develop independence, and grow in responsibility to others. They support the continuity of a Montessori education that begins in the earliest years and extends through adolescence—an education rooted in the pursuit of what is good, true, and beautiful.

In this way, the Annual Fund is not simply fundraising. It is an investment in the long-term flourishing of the children entrusted to our care.

Make Your Gift

Your support helps sustain the environments where students grow intellectually, morally, and spiritually—preparing them for lives of purpose and service.

Ways to Give

Families and friends may support the Annual Fund in a variety of ways:

• One-time gifts
 • Monthly recurring gifts
 • Employer matching gifts
 • Gifts of appreciated securities
 • Contributions through donor-advised funds

St. Helena Montessori School is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and gifts are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Every Gift Strengthens the Experience

Tuition sustains the basic operations of the school, but it does not fully cover the cost of delivering the authentic Montessori education that defines St. Helena Montessori. The Annual Fund bridges that gap.

Through the generosity of parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends, the school is able to maintain the elements that make the experience distinctive: purpose-built Montessori environments, AMI-trained guides, the working farm, and programs that support intellectual, moral, and spiritual development.

Every gift directly strengthens the daily life of the school and the experience of our students from infancy through adolescence.

Why the Annual Fund Matters

An authentic Montessori program requires more than classrooms and curriculum. It requires environments that are thoughtfully designed, materials that are carefully maintained, and educators who are deeply trained in child development.

The Annual Fund helps sustain these essential components, including:

Maintaining purpose-built Montessori environments across all programs
Expanding opportunities on our working farm and outdoor campus
Supporting AMI-trained guides and their continued professional formation
Supporting the spiritual and moral formation central to our mission
Enriching the each of our programs and their real-world work experiences
Providing tuition assistance for families seeking a Montessori education
