Metal II advances students’ skills in machining, welding, and product design. Students practice high-precision measurement, learn quality control techniques, and work with increasingly complex manufacturing tools. Coursework incorporates project management, product costing, and introductory entrepreneurial principles. Students design and fabricate items intended for sale at school markets or fundraising events, applying both technical and business considerations. The course reinforces safety, accuracy, and full-cycle project execution.
