Kitchen: Farm-to-Table

In the Farm-to-Table community work, students work together with the instructor to provide lunch and snacks for the Adolescent Program community. The cohort of students works together as a team to plan, prepare, and execute a theme for the weekly lunch. Whenever possible, ingredients from the farm are used in the dishes. In addition, the students help prepare items for the daily snack. They also assist in the daily cleaning and maintenance of the commercial kitchen.
In the Farm-to-Table community work, students work together with Mrs. Poisson to provide lunch and snacks for the AP student body and faculty. Each week emphasizes a basic culinary skill that is taught alongside Mrs. Poisson. The cohort of students works together as a team to plan, prepare, and execute a theme for the weekly lunch. They also assist in the daily cleaning and maintenance of the industrial style kitchen.
