In this community work with the farm animals, students learn principles of animal science coupled with direct work and interaction with the animals. Students learn and assist in the basics of animal breeding, as well as in best handling and management practices. Students work closely with the instructor to determine the specific tasks of the day and how to best prioritize the needs of the particular animals and the needs of the group as a whole.
